Youth Dance Easter Camp

Bridie Gane is a Glasgow based choreographer known for creating short, snappy and humurous choreography.

Having created touring work with Dumfries and Galloway Dance in 2021, Bridie will be returning to the region this spring to create a short pop up work with young people from across the region. Over five days, at the Crichton Campus Dumfries (using the church as a base) we will create a short choreography that will be performed as part of DG Arts Festival.

1030-1530 Daily.
Dancers are encouraged to turn up and try from Monday - Wednesday, then we will work with those interested in making a performance on Thursday and Friday.

Young dancers should bring lunch, water and lots of layers that are easy to move in as we may choose to work outside, weather permitting.

Parents/carers will be asked to complete a short form on arrival and covid protections will be in place. We will provide more information about the performances at DG Arts festival throughout the week with no pressure to perform.

Dancers don’t need any experience, just lots of enthusiasm.
We will learn everything else together.
